Text statistics & cleanup
Model output arrives messy. Make it usable before it reaches your repository.
Count characters, words, lines and tokens, then apply the four cleanup actions that handle almost every paste artefact: stray blank lines, duplicated lines, doubled spaces and ragged indentation.
- Four live counters
- Four cleanup actions
- Nothing uploaded
Try it now
Paste the text and the counters update as you type. Cleanup actions apply to what is currently in the box, so re-pasting the original restores it.

Key Highlights
Copying from a chat interface routinely drags along two or three blank lines between every paragraph, a duplicated heading, and spaces that were used for alignment and no longer line up.
Handling that by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. These four actions cover the overwhelming majority of the mess, and because each one is a separate button you can apply exactly the fix you need instead of a blunt reformat.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does cleanup overwrite my text?
Yes, it acts on the current contents. To undo, paste the original text again — there is no hidden history to restore from.
Can I chain the actions?
Yes. Each action reads the result of the previous one, so trimming after collapsing blank lines works as expected.
How is the word count defined?
Whitespace-separated runs. For CJK text, which has no spaces, the character count is the more meaningful number.
