Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-03-01
Short version
This site does not use advertising cookies, does not set cross-site tracking cookies, and does not require a consent banner, because no cookie here is used to track you across other sites.
Almost everything that persists between visits is stored in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store and to send back with subsequent requests to that site. Local storage is similar in that it persists on your device, but its content is never transmitted automatically — it is read by page scripts only.
Cookies we set
We set exactly one cookie. It is a preference cookie, not a tracking cookie, and the site works without it.
- `theme` — remembers whether you chose the light or the dark interface. Essential, first-party, and kept until you clear it yourself.
- No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no cross-site cookies are set by this site.
- If your browser shows a cookie from this site that is not listed above, it most likely came from a browser extension or another site on the same machine.
Local storage we use
Local storage entries stay on your device until you clear site data. They are never sent to us.
- `theme` — mirrors the theme choice so that the first paint matches your last visit, avoiding a flash of the wrong colour scheme.
- `i18nextLng` — remembers the language you last selected so you do not have to switch again on your next visit.
- Clearing this storage resets the theme and language to their defaults. Nothing else changes.
Analytics
Aggregate page-view counting is configured without cross-site identifiers, so it cannot follow you to other websites. It is used to see which pages are worth maintaining, not to build a profile.
If you would prefer not to be counted at all, blocking scripts for this site from your browser's privacy settings will not break any tool — every tool runs client-side and needs no permission.
How to remove what is stored
- **Chrome / Edge**: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies, then See all site data and permissions — delete this site's entry.
- **Firefox**: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data, then Manage data — remove this site.
- **Safari**: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data — remove this site.
Changes to this policy
If a future feature needs a new cookie or storage entry, it will be added to the lists above and the date at the top of this page will change.
